Background

About Us

We are a local village hall with a small meeting room and a larger hall, available for hire for private or public events. 

We have recently renovated the hall to use solar panels for our air conditioning. We also have disabled access toilets and off road parking.

We have added in some of the latest technology in 2021:The main hall was fitted with a retractable large screen (3.5m X 2.3m), a projector, six
speakers, DVD player. This equipment allows us to show films, presentations, etc.
We also have a PA system and there is pop-up staging available for shows and presentations.

    Flossie Malavialle is a French born singer who was based in the North East of England from 2002 to 2019. She has become an accomplished performer playing at folk clubs and festivals all over the UK (and beyond) and supporting acts such as Fairport Convention and Show of Hands.

    The first of our Back-to-Back performances (week apart) of Avatar, this one is the first from 2009... The films follow a U.S. Marine named Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) who becomes part of a program in which human colonizers explore and exploit an alien world called Pandora.

The spacious main hall has recently been updated to include; new heating and air conditioning systems as well as new skylight windows. The hall is suitable for group exercise classes, bithday parties, weddings and social events. The smaller room is suitable for meetings and small events.
I use the main hall for Tai Chi classes and have found that the Village Hall moe than meets my needs.
