About Church and Chetwynd Aston Village Hall

A community space for all

The Hall provides a community facility for the villages of Church Aston and Chetwynd Aston together with all of the surround areas and although financially separate, is well supported by both Parish Councils.
The committee is formed from volunteers that meets regularly and is open to the public and welcomes further members or helpers.
The hall is a registered Charity, 522491.
The hall was extensively refurbished in 2020/1 with 14kW of solar panels, a storage battery of 11kWh, LED lighting, significant insulation of walls and roof, hot water in the toilets and Kitchen, Electric hand dryers. The hall was completely redecorated.
The hall is totally Air Conditioned.
The main hall was fitted with a retractable large screen (3.5m X 2.3m), a projector, six speakers (one of which is a subwoofer) and DVD player. This equipment allows us to show films, presentations, etc.
We also have a PA system.
There is pop-up staging( 5m X 2.2m X 330mm) available for shows and presentations.
The main hall has a wooden sprung dance floor.
A meeting room (The Aston Room) has been formed that is carpeted, with its own air conditioning and has a smart screen linked to the DVD player.
There is disabled access and toilets together with baby changing facilities.
The hall has a recently surfaced car park surrounding the hall.
